What an amazing weekend at Otter Creek Farm’s Red Pine H/J Show!

Thank you to all of the competitors, trainers, family and friends who traveled to Wheeler to spend their time with us at this amazing show facility. The show had 125 horses and riders enter more than 750 classes in 3 different rings over 2 days. Whew! Highlights of the weekend included the 5 Derby and 3 Medal classes in the hunter ring as well as the 1.0m Mini Prix and the Saturday Night Costume Class and Ride & Drive. So much fun!

Thank you to our fantastic judges, Heather Parish, Darcy Workman, Brandi Johnson and Kathy Jerome. Our marvelous announcer, Kelly Fedt, and in-gate crew of Corey Grandstrand, Tracy Alkin, Brandi Johnson and Lila Fedor did an amazing job getting through so many rounds.

St Croix Saddlery had their on-site tack trailer available for all horse and rider needs—thanks to owner Christy Weflen and Sales Guru Louise! Gail Brandt brought cupcakes to our awesome Leadline Costume Class and Ride & Drive class. Thank you Serena Oudekirk and Highview Equestrian Center for providing the beverage.

If you see Haley Sims, be sure to compliment her fine skills in the Red Pine show office!

There are not enough thank yous for Tracy Grandstrand, Corey and boys. Tracy did a spectacular job managing the show which included course design, stabling requests, hiring staff and many other behind the scenes details.

Lastly, special thanks to Lena, Mark and Jenny Warner for once more opening up your beautiful farm to the hunter/jumper community. It was a magical weekend with beautiful fall colors, weather and friends. We are so pleased the Warner's are already looking forward to a 2020 Red Pine show at Otter Creek!

See everyone next year!
