Red Pine Horse Show Association Supports
About TIP
TIP (Thoroughbred Incentive Program) is a nationally recognized awards program for off-the-track Thoroughbreds registered with the prestigious Jockey Club. Thoroughbreds can win specialty high point ribbons at local RPHSA MN H/J shows and also qualify for the TIP Championship in Aiken, South Carolina in October.
How to Enter A TIP Class
FOR EACH RPHSA H/J SHOW:
The rider must first visit obtain a TIP identification number for the Thoroughbred horse at www.tjctip.com/memberlogin
Each horse with a TIP number is eligible for up to two high point awards per show:​

Either Hunter High Point 2’6 and above OR Hunter High Point below 2’6 (only eligible for one hunter high-point per show)

Jumper High Point (all heights)
Next, send email to melissamae33@hotmail.com with the TIP # and rider name and explain which division(s) you have entered at Horse Spot for high point:

RPHSA Rules for Calculating HUNTER TIP Champion
***Highest # of total points in a full, individual division (ie Modified)
Break tie #1- total # of entries in full, individual division
Break tie #2- # of first places in full, individual division
RPHSA Rules for Calculating JUMPER TIP Champion
***Highest # of total points in an individual class=pts for placing + # of class entries (1st-10, 2nd-6, 3rd-4, 4th-2, 5th-1, 6th-.5)
Break tie #1- # of first places (.75m or higher)
Break tie #2- Highest # of total points in ALL class=pts for placing + # of class entries (1st-10, 2nd-6, 3rd-4, 4th-2, 5th-1, 6th-.5) THEN DIVIDE BY NUMBER OF CLASSES HORSE ENTERED
